Okay so I'm thinking of restarting the competitions, but I'm not sure which. That's where this poll comes in.

Just answer the questions to the best of your ability.

I didn't add Graphics Battles because I need to see how many people we have in the Graphics community.

While I'm here, let me address a few things.

1) Competitions: Their prizes have been changed. The Hall of Fame will continue, but we're dropping the Ghoztpoints. Instead there will be a news post once a month and it will have the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners for all competitions finished during that month. It will also display the first place winning image, and thumbnails of 2nd and 3rd. Lastly, each first place winner will get a small tag that states they won the competition for that month. There will be a different one for each competition.

2) SOTW: It is now required for voters to state who and why they voted for a person. I know Zar already said this in the voting threads, but I added it to the rules. Whoever does not will have their vote disregarded.

3) Battle Arena: We are starting "team battles". That means that if you and another person would like to go against another pair, you may. How this works will be explained later.

4) Photography Competition: I'm just adding a length. It will have the same length as the Large Art. Two weeks entry time and one week voting.

5) If there is a tie between two people, they will compete in a graphics battle. There, the winner will be decided.


Any disagreements/changes you want can be posted in this thread.


Tentative outline for a month:
We will have two SOTW's per month, one week entry period and one week voting period per SOTW.
We will have one Photography competition per month, two weeks entry period and one week voting period.
We will have one LAOTF per month, two weeks entry period and one week voting period.

I will post the News thread on the last day of that month with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners for each competition that finished during the month.
If there was a tie, and they didn't finish until the next month I will post it with the next months news thread.

As you guys can see I've added many tutorials on photoshop in the past... 20 minutes.
I will eventually add stuff for Gimp, Paint shop pro and other programs along with Photography. Any help would be appreciated however, please get permission from the owner to post the tutorials and please credit the owner. Last, don't forget to follow the template.

Sigh, I'm making Christmas Signatures and Avatars again this year.
Last year ended in a let down as I got too lazy but i have my photoshop brushes back, which i was too stupid to think to do last time.
So far I have done mine (Check my siggie) and Rdy2Killz's avatar (in two versions).
I have a backup list of people to do but anybody that requests one is moved up on the priority list.

Basically, i take your current Avatar and Signature and edit them with green and red colors, adding in candy canes over swords and hats on their heads.
Nothing to fabulous but the red and green gives a more Christmas feel. You don't have to use them, but i do this for fun.

Sometimes there are some that I would have a hard time with, like Monki's. I would attempt and if I failed, i would say sorry that I Can't do it D=

One modification per person. The first editor can make the picture a little smaller if they'd like. Just no smaller than 1600x1200

This should be a fairly easy one to modify, there is a lot of open space.

Okay, so on photoshop, the thing on the right that has like a view of the image, along with a color picker, and layer viewer, got messed up, and now I don't see my layers. ><;;

I've recently sold my awesome custom built computer(sad, I know.) and bought a new HP tx2000 fully loaded. One of the things I like about the Laptop itself is the echo imprint. A very abstract photo finish on top of it... So, I figured I'd make an abstract background to go along with it. It's one of my favorite characters Urahara. Comments/Real critisism welcomed. This is my first abstract background, please be gentle but firm. =)

I was wondering for those experienced photographers where you guys go (location wise) for good photos or do you just usually carry the camera with you everywhere? I'm looking for general locations as i know not everyone lives where i do. thanks.
