Super Smash Bros Brawl is amazing. I know I said it was going to fail, but I played it for 2 hours with my friend, and wow, it is fucken the best game of all time. It is NOT unbalanced, and every character is pretty much equal. The items are just freaken amazing, nothing is overbalanced like I thought the items would be. The gameplay is perfect, as in it beats any game's gameplay I have ever seen. The only bad thing, is the graphics are some of the worst ive ever seen. Nintendo should have used the next generation possibilities to their limits, however, SSBB is EXTREAMLY unappealing in graphics. But, who cares about graphics? Gameplay = everything. Super Smash Bros Brawl is the best game I have ever played in my life. It beats anything on my 360, and I havent even played wifi with SSBB yet.

As if you couldn't be any more excited for Super Smash Bros. Brawl: NeoGAF has scans from Famitsu magazine that show that the game has received a perfect 40/40 review score.
The four reviewers praised the lengthy single-player mode ("you forget the time") and the "surprising" Final Smash super moves.
Yes, it's generally agreed upon that Famitsu scores, and the vast majority of other Japanese magazine coverage, are mostly determined by the exchange of money or other considerations that fall outside of independent editorial judgment.
But Famitsu only very rarely gives this score out, and historically it's only been to one game per console. This is only the seventh 40/40. The others went to The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, Soul Calibur, Vagrant Story, Zelda: Wind Waker, Nintendogs, and Final Fantasy XII.
Point is, no matter how this score came about, this is an excellent sign for Smash Bros.' chances in Japan. Note that the review text still carries the original ship date of January 24, meaning that the delay must really have been a last-minute decision. Speculation on NeoGAF that Nintendo couldn't produce enough copies of the game to meet retailers' unexpectedly high pre-orders would suggest that this one is going to explode out of the gate.
Source
As a side note, if you're not familer with the Famitsu magazine, you should google it, they are usually Highly reliable.

I found this article while checking my email. Pretty interesting. I guess that is what you get when you have little real world testing on a product. Let the lawsuits begin...lmao.
One thing I will say is I would be pissed as hell if my strap broke and ruined my HD-Tv....
Picture this. You're lining up the perfect shot in Wii Bowling, remote in hand. You set up the shot, swing the remote with all the strength you can muster, and... follow through a little more than you intended.
Somehow the remote leaves your sweaty-palmed grip and bang, smash, there goes your TV, window, photo of your granny, anything that happens to be in the path of the newly liberated remote.
Hold on, though. If you're wearing the (supplied) wrist strap, no harm done, right? So you'd think. As you can see, some Wii owners are finding the strap decidedly lacking. (Check out nascent site wiihaveaproblem.com for more strap malfunctions.) The problem isn't with the amply broad strap itself, but the considerably narrower section that connects the strap with the remote, which is prone to fray in some circumstances. The result is smashed remotes, smashed televisions, smashed windows, and unhappy (or, at least, somewhat red-faced) customers.
Sure, it's easy to laugh at the misfortune of these hapless Wii'ers, especially if you're still combing stores for miles around looking for yours. One broken strap could be regarded as misfortune, but as the volume of fractured straps grows, it starts to look more like carelessness -- or, at least, evidence of a lack of real-world testing.
In the meantime, wise Wii owners will want to consider hunting round the house for something a little stronger -- or waiting for one of the more opportunistic peripheral manufacturers to cash in on the opportunity to flog reinforced replacements at an inflated price. That's business.

I think that this mod/clone is pretty fun. Whats even better is anyone can make their own quests for it!

Its a lot of fun
QUOTE
What Is ZC?
Zelda Classic is a tribute to (what we think is) the greatest video game of all time: Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda. It has been developed into an exact replica of the NES version that we all know and love. Beyond that, Zelda Classic allows the development of new quests that can use either the traditional graphics or enhanced graphics, as well as new enemies, items, and challenges
Though it was started as a basic Legend of Zelda clone by programmer Phantom Menace in April of 1999, Zelda Classic has grown into something much bigger in the past few years. A full LOZ replica was achieved by June of 2000, with Zelda Classic version 1.84, but the story didnt end there. Although Phantom Menace moved on to other projects, Fans of Zelda Classic wanted more.
Fast forward to after about a year of searching for a new programmer, when Dark Nation comes to Armageddon Games, and breathes new life into what seemed like a dying beast. Within weeks, a new version of Zelda Classic is released, and it's popularity soars. Zelda Classic 1.90, introduced a list of new features, and with it's addition to Download.com, Armageddon Games is flooded with about 3000+ new members in a manner of months!
Many features have been added in the past few years. Now, instead of being merely a Legend of Zelda Clone, Zelda Classic has become so much more. With ZQuest, Zelda Classic's Quest Creator, anyone can make their very own quest from scratch, and now, with all of the features that have been added in the past years, the possibilities are virtually endless for the style of quest you can make. If you can imagine it, you can create it (provided it's in 8-bit color). Quests have grown larger and longer, into seemingly epic games, that can take days, if not weeks to complete. With ZQuest, you can create your own original graphics, or import them from any game you like. In the past we've seen ZC versions of LEXX, (many versions of) Mega Man, Metroid and Super Mario Brothers, all in the classic quest style. As well as hundreds upon hundreds of first rate custom Zelda Quests.
After three years of waiting, and many new features being added to ZC behind closed doors, it finally seems like a new version of Zelda Classic is on the horizon. Now in final development and testing, the next version of Zelda Classic is sure to please gamers and creators, and introduce a new generation to the greatest game of all time, The Legend of Zelda.

TOKYO - Nintendo said Friday it will replace 3.2 million straps for its popular Wii computer game controllers after receiving a rash of reports that the device flew out of the hands of players.
The voluntary exchange program is a bittersweet development for Nintendo — a costly hitch in its three-way battle with Sony Corp (NYSE:SNE - news).'s PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360, but also confirmation of its enthusiastic reception worldwide.
The Wii's signature wand-like remote controller is used to mimic the motions of a tennis racket, golf club or sword, depending on the game. But soon after the Wii went on sale last month, people started reporting cases of the controller's strap breaking as they waved it about vigorously.
Nintendo will allow customers to exchange the old straps, which have a 0.024 inch diameter, for a beefed up strap that has a diameter of 0.04 inch, company spokesman Yasuhiro Minagawa said. The worldwide exchange is expected to cost the company several million dollars.
"People tended to get a bit excited, especially while playing Wii sports, and in some cases the control would come loose from their hands," Minagawa said. "The new strap will be almost twice as thick."
The control wand is one of the unique features of the Wii, which Nintendo introduced as its counterchallenge in a fierce competition with Sony Corp.'s PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360.
Nintendo is hoping the easy-to-control wand will appeal to a wider crowd of players — not just young men.
Customers can exchange the straps through their local Nintendo service centers, Minagawa said.
Wii's debuts were soon followed by reports of smashed glass and damaged television sets, while another fan apparently sprained and cut a finger on her right hand while trying to rally for a comeback victory in Wii baseball.
But the offbeat stories of Wii controllers going ballistic haven't hurt sales.
The market research company NPD Group estimated that U.S. consumers bought 476,000 Wiis in the two weeks following its Nov. 17 launch. That beat Sony Corp.'s PlayStation 3 console, which sold just under 200,000 units amid widespread shortages.
Nintendo has delivered more machines so far to consumers than Sony has, partly because of Sony's production problems.
Nintendo has shipped about 400,000 Wii machines in Japan and more than 600,000 in North America. Sony readied just 100,000 PS3 machines for the Japanese launch and 400,000 consoles for its U.S. debut.
Sony has promised 2 million PS3s worldwide by year's end, while Nintendo is targeting 4 million Wii units in the same period.
Selling machines in high volumes is crucial in the gaming business because hot-selling formats attract software companies to make more games, which in turn boost console sales.
Separately Friday, Nintendo also said it would replace 200,000 AC adapters for its DS and DS Lite consoles in Japan. Nintendo said the move would not affect adapters overseas, and officials expected only a small impact on earnings.

I'm wondering, because it's really retarded how I can't run in any game I play on my sweet good 'ol N64

.
(I have xbox and gamecube, N64 is not my only system, lol)
I still enjoy playing classic games like mario, ssb, starfox, maybe some glover.
All these games I have to walk, I can't run, unless I pry the joystick up and then jam it upwards, and break the tip of my thumb in the process, lol.
Is there a way to manualy go in and fix it? I tried 2x already and broke 2 controllers...I tried replacing the joystick with Nintendo's Super Pad, which that joystick was perfect.
It didn't work, because they were two seperate joysticks. And the Super Pad's Z, and B buttons didn't work, so scratrch that out of there :/.

Reports say that a big as-yet-unrevealed title for the Wii just got told to be ready quicker by Nintendo!
Gaming blog Kotaku has recieved a tip that a "large development team working on a still to be disclosed Wii title just got a big kick in the ass (reggie style no doubt - Seph) from Nintendo". Apparently, all testing for the game is to be reduced - presumably for an earlier launch than anticipated.
Alpha, Beta, and Final testing for the title will now take place in a vastly shorter timescale than originally believed - could Nintendo be worried the game wouldn't make the Wii's release?
