This is part of the Pixel City, yet a project on it's own. I'm going to keep it afterwards, but if the Pixel City goes anywhere, this will be either XGhozt's or my own house.
Before anybody asks, I AM using a tutorial. Of course I couldn't make something like that up by myself...yet, in any case.

I will post once again after I finish the outline and base colors and then the final version with shading and everything.
Don't expect the outline anytime before a week and don't expect the final before two weeks = Pixel Art is hard work, having to draw in each pixel.

Mine is not exactly like the tutorial's either, but it has a very good resemblance = If I do another, it will be all Original.

Well I wish it wasnt true but it is true. This guy calls himself xxlginger because of his cat. supposedly the cats name is ginger and looks like the color ginger and its a big cat....

I got bored and decided to try a few things in Photoshop. A couple were from tutorials and others were just experiments.


The arms are from the Distorted Sig tutorial on Ghoztcraft.
The chest is from the disintegration tutorial I found somewhere, I'll provide a link if someone wants it.

The front leg is just it copied over itself and then a series of smudges. Makes a nice 'splattered bug' feel.

The back leg is simply a 'crack' brush set. Might have made it better had I took a few spots and made it like they fell off, but I wasn't interested in it at the moment.

The walls are a different brush set I used.

The fire on the back of head was originally her ponytail. I probably could've done it better, but I wasn't too focused on that experiment.

From the entire image, it was testing a bit of my rendering abilities. I cut the girl out by herself in a different image, and in the current image I desaturated everything else. The render picture, though, is a bit 'rough' around the edges, nothing a bit of blurring wouldn't fix.

If anybody has a good disintegration tutorial or can make one yourself, I would humbly ask for it

And I know the text sucks. Long story short, [spoiler]I downloaded 5000 fonts and now photoshop freezes as soon as I click the font button. Anybody want to upload their font folder so I can replace it with mine? I don't care what's in it.[/spoiler]
