We've finally managed to get 10,000,000 hits in one month! This is pretty big, considering less than 6 months ago, it was only 7,523,484. And we're nearly doubled our unique visitors stats as well. For the month of June, we hit 61,495 Unique Visitors, and less than 6 months ago, that was a measly 34,891! So, everyone, pat yourself on the back and pour yourself a cup of whatever the hell you drink.

We must be doing something right:

Also, http://www.quantcast.com/ghoztcraft.net

Based upon Mark Millar’s explosive graphic novel series and helmed by stunning visualist director Timur Bekmambetov—creator of the most successful Russian film franchise in history, the Night Watch series—Wanted tells the tale of one apathetic nobody’s transformation into an unparalleled enforcer of justice. In 2008, the world will be introduced to a hero for a new generation: Wesley Gibson. 25-year-old Wes (James McAvoy) was the most disaffected, cube-dwelling drone the planet had ever known. His boss chewed him out hourly, his girlfriend ignored him routinely and his life plodded on interminably. Everyone was certain this disengaged slacker would amount to nothing. There was little else for Wes to do but wile away the days and die in his slow, clock-punching rut. Until he met a woman named Fox (Angelina Jolie). After his estranged father is murdered, the deadly sexy Fox recruits Wes into the Fraternity, a secret society that trains Wes to avenge his dad’s death by unlocking his dormant powers. As she teaches him how to develop lightning-quick reflexes and phenomenal agility, Wes discovers this team lives by an ancient, unbreakable code: carry out the death orders given by fate itself. With wickedly brilliant tutors—including the Fraternity’s enigmatic leader, Sloan (Morgan Freeman)—Wes grows to enjoy all the strength he ever wanted. But, slowly, he begins to realize there is more to his dangerous associates than meets the eye. And as he wavers between newfound heroism and vengeance, Wes will come to learn what no one could ever teach him: he alone controls his destiny.

--© Universal Pictures

I just watched the movie WANTED today. Right from the started I was laughing my ass off as the sarcastic comments, then to the instant rush of adrenaline at the pure excitement of the show. The moves and action shots are done so well it'll make you sit up in your seat, and that's rare from movies these days. One thing's for sure, this movie will quickly become one of your favorites. So far, the quintessential summer movie, so absurd, slick and entertaining, it's an outright blast. Angelina Jolie has never been quite so intimidating ..or fun!

New Computer and Work

First and foremost, I finally managed to buy myself a computer. So you'll end up seeing alot more around here. I bought a friend's old motherboard and amd dual core for $70 total, bought 2gigs of ram, an old case my brother had, an extra power supply we had, and an old pci video card for the time being. I couldn't get it working with IDE ports so I ordered a 500gb sata hdd and dvd/cd rw drive from newegg and had a friend burn me an xp disc. It all installed perfectly fine on thursday and now I'm here. If you talked to me alot before, you'd probably know that I previously only used the family computer that we all shared which extremely limited my computer time. In a few days I'll be ordering a new video card and maybe a new power supply with the $400 paycheck I'm getting. Which brings me to my second topic.

About three or four weeks ago I got hired at a store as a cashier and now work part-time there. I can't say I enjoy working there but I do love talking to all the other employees. I'm hoping sometime around when school starts back up that I can get a job as a computer network engineer or technician. That way I wouldn't have to work so many hours for such a low paycheck and I'd actually be learning and getting real experience. A job in the field of computer networking is what my current aspiration is for a career. Though I haven't fully decided on it yet because I want to keep my options open until when I actually need to make a decision.

Okay, so today I had a plane ticket to depart from CLT at 2:35 pm, and arrive at ORF at 3:45 pm...

So, I got to the airport at about 12:20, and I was at the gate by about 12:45...

So I was sitting there for about an hour and a half, and the lady came across the intercom and was like, Does anyone have a flexible schedule? Well see, I had nothing to do today, so I jumped up immediately, and was like I'll do it! So, then they were like okay, you will leave at 5:34 p.m (and arrive at 6:44... which we actually got there early so yea.) Sure, why not, I'll let that old asshole who can't wait two hours get on my plane... (Thats who I gave it up to... a bitchy old asshole... I hate those guys)

So anyways, I was sitting at the gate, and she was printing my new ticket... And then she said "Okay, to be fair, we are going to hook you up as well..."

So, in return for waiting two hours... *I did have my laptop so I was cool with it...* I got a free dinner from them, and I got a round trip ticket to anywhere in the US for free... I think I might visit ghozt!

Lesson?
I Was On Vacation!

Hello Everyone,

I'm sure you all missed me over the last 10 days or so. Anyway, I'm back now and I brought pictures! I only edited and uploaded about 60 of them (from a total of 300 or so). But they're pretty nice anyway.

The gallery is located here. (Good ones start on Page 3)
- And yes, some of the pictures are HUGE, resize them on your own time.

I was there a total of 8 days. I went camping with 5 of my friends at Burney Falls. It was a total of 6 or 7 hours to drive up there, not including the way back. Oh, and the good news, I got a tan! Haha.. The nice thing about this place (besides the giant water fall) is that I had an EDGE connection (phone data/internet transfer) around about 70% of the camp site. And it there is even Wifi access provided as an att hotspot! So I was able to check up on things and relax at the same time while out in the middle of North California.

Well, anyway, time to get back to whatever it is I do around here.

Enjoy the Pictures,
~XGhozt

Hello newcomer, and Welcome to the Community.

This website is a forum, as you probably already know, and is dedicated to gaming and the community surrounding it. This particular website is dedicated to hacking and exploiting, it's main means for attracting new members.

My name is Chris, and I want to help you to make a good impression and possibly fit in better in the community. Now, you can fit in and be as unique as you want, that's not what this is about. I don't want to make you think I am trying to make you a robot. No, by fitting in I mean not doing stupid things that will get you a bad reputation, or even banned.

The first step to joining a new forum is to admit you are new.

I am a seasoned forumer (pronounced "forum whore") but I am still new to Ghoztcraftz. This means that my first step in joining the community should always be lurking. By lurking I mean observing, not burrowing underground and waiting for an opportune time to strike your opponent, who hopefully sends marines.

Observe the forum, and get to know the members from behind the scenes. Usually you should lurk for about an hour tops (over two days) before beginning to post. Think this is stupid and making the internet more seri0us bizness than it needs to be? Then we don't want you posting, because you aren't going to fit in. People may not consider the forum their lives, but someone who can't take a measly 40 minutes to get a grasp on a forum with multitudes of members and literally hundreds of topics will just not fit in with the people on a website dedicated to a 10 year old game.

The next step in joining the community, which can actual be done while initiating the first step, is to post an introduction. Now, in your introduction, introduce yourself and do nothing more. Do not go into detail about a subject, as it will make you seem conceited, save that for the appropriate board. Always search for an introduction board before posting, and read the last 2-3 introductions to get an idea of what to say. Seasoned forumers usually have experience with this step, and can copypasta an introduction from their hard disk.

Do not lie on a forum. Your first name is not a dangerous thing to share. Making up a last name sounds alright, but lying at all can really hurt your credibility. Anonymity is a great thing in essence, because it means people can only judge you on your thoughts and feelings. On the other hand, anonymity can also allow people to say and do things with minimal consequence. Which leads us into the next guideline, Sensitivity.

Don't be over sensitive to people on the forum. If you are a sensitive person, there are ways to emulate that without sounding like a baby. Also, if you are new to a forum and have done minimal lurking, do not play the hero for anyone. Always try to sit the fence until people actually notice you, and will care about your opinion. Your join date and your post count, when studied together, can cause a great deal of skepticism towards you, and ultimately if you make a post against the current "bandwagon" or just the main feelings of the members, you will already have earned yourself a bad reputation. Do not take this the wrong way though. Having your own opinions is important, and is what makes forums possible, but when posting your opinions, especially when new, make sure you aren't over zealous with them. For the most part steer clear of the flame board until you have 30 solid, meaningful posts. (or are a seasoned whore) That doesn't mean when you post count hit's 30!
Also, remember the only thing we have to judge people on here is their wit. Making physical threats over the internet is stupid. Even if you have the means to get to that person's home, you aren't going to do it. Trust me. I've been on the receiving end of many e-threats, some of which where very plausible and could very well have happened. They never do. If you have to resort to using physical threats to win an e-fight, you lost. You just don't have the wit to keep up with the other person, obviously, and are doomed to ridicule for the rest of your stay on the forum.

Realize that everyone here is a nerd, and should be treated as an equal. I, while participating in many sports and having a decent social life, am quite a huge computer geek. Everyone posting on this website is, that is why they are on a 10 year old game. If you have some notion that you are not a nerd, and are somehow better than everyone else because of this, please refrain from showing us how cool you are by posting. We really do not need it.

Don't spam. Posts that only have three words, as represented by an acronym, are not helpful or boosting to a topic. Unless something is posted as comedy, or in a flame/spam board. Posts limited to "LOL" are not appreciated.

The most important part of posting on a forum is to have fun and enjoy yourself. If you aren't having fun or dislike the people in a community, it is going to show in your posts, so why not just leave. Don't come to a hacking website if you absolutely hate hackers and would never use one for yourself. Take for example me. I hate hacks in melee and ladder type games. I don't hate hackers as a whole, because they really aren't harming me or doing anything terrible. I use some hacks for Diablo and Warcraft, too. I wouldn't come to this forum for the sole purpose of saying "Fuck YOU!" to everyone. Why? It accomplishes nothing.

Respect the Administrators. It's their site. If they want to post two monkeys having intercourse as the point of the website, that is up to them. Global mods and VIP members are such for a reason, do not think that you have more say than them.

Realize that most of this is the opinion of myself, LoyaL, and not the Administrators of this website, unless they /sign it.

Enjoy your stay on the forum, and I look forward to posting alongside you.

How Did Gc Get It's Name?

Okay, so I've got a little story for you.

I know how confusing it is for everyone, who came up with that name, how do I spell it, is the C capitalized? Well, I'll tell you how I came up with the name, where it started and how to spell it. It's a long story, so I'll keep it short and leave out all the mushy stuff. I'm not going to tell you where and why I created the site, but I will explain the name and give you some good stuff to look at.

So, first of all, I'd like to clear up that it's spelled "Ghoztcraft" pronounced "ghost craft" and the C is not capitalized because it's one word, always has been. Now, the name has drifted away from the purpose of the website, but earned it's meaning from the content and respected community.

I spent a few days (mind you, I was 15) trying to find a name I could use, that was both unique, related to me and the original goal (at the time) of my project. I figured, well, I've had the name "xghozt" for a while now, and I want my site to be about my favorite game (at the time) StarCraft. So, after a while of googling to find 0 results, I finally found a name which was not in use, unique and related to what I wanted.

And thus, the geocities Ghoztcraft was born.
if you're interested in going down memory lane (for you senior members) or curious as to how embarrassing things began. I'll have you know I've got screenshots and saved versions of the old website, because I knew, one day, I'd want to look at them again.

Ghoztcraft Wiki: Ghoztcraft
Ghoztcraft Archive 1
Ghoztcraft Archive 2

So now you know the story, thanks for reading.

And yeah, you can laugh ,
~XGhozt

I am always playing these games and they are always in my cycle. There are some other guys that get into a cycle where I'll have a huge interest in it, play it for a couple days, and then not touch it again for several months.

Main Page Second Scroll Bar

Since the new page was put up at Ghoztcraft.net as a home page I've thought it looks pretty nice, but I have a small concern about it and wanted to see what you all thought so I can let Ghozt know what we think as a whole of how it should be. Now for whats going on here there are two ways that I've seen it and I want to show you and I want you to choose which you think is more convenient to you and everyone else around:

With Second Scroll Bar:
http://screencast.com/t/87NZGNaXiz
Here's an image also in case you don't want to watch the video..

And Simply Without Second Scroll Bar:
http://screencast.com/t/uaypMb9YoH
And image here also..

Now I want you to choose in the poll which one you like more and you think should be on the page.
Personally I think it should have one, because I don't like the long long long pages on websites and I like things being as compact as possible while still looking nice, and if it were possible to make a page look really nice while eliminating the big scrollbar I think it should happen. Or in this case make the scrollbar smaller.

Without the scroll bar I can see the page getting a mile long, but without it wont, it will maintain the same size and if someone were to look at the content in the second scrollbox then they can. But for the ones that don't want to bother with it at the time, I don't think it should be flowing down the pages for miles. Now hurry!!! Post your opinions and Vote in the poll.

---
Update: You can now toggle the scrollbar.
