Feathered in the light like a floating feather

Thou the air have i been lost in the stroke of the wind

Slowly pushing me thou the motions of the world forsaken

Pushed to the limmit broken is all i hear from the voices

Slowly decaying my sanity.

 

Have i stood my ground earned my right

Have i served my name in this earth

Buried with my pride strips of red and white

Is all i remember seeing a smile i lay to rest with

Knowing i stood my ground and i dint give in

The blood i lost was for my name of my family my brother my sisters

My family my country burning in to my skull when i pulled that trigger

The smell of sweat under my helmet gunpowder the sound all the screams

Warm my blood was when the metal hit my flesh

I felt no pain i just kept fighting for my name

 

 

I fell to my knees not knowing why i was so weak

I looked down to see my blood droping from my chest

I knew i couldent die at this place i picked up my gun

Forced my self off my knees and ran in like a mad man screaming

For my life one two three more thumps i hear im on my knees again

Blood is all i could see four five six i would not die here

My hands in the dirt i griped them pulling the filth off the gound grabing my gun

I used it as a cane to pick my self up seven eight nine blood is now coming out my mouth

I breath in as i do my cheast whistles my lungs have been hit i grin

I will not die here i crawled to the corner foot steps i hear not friendly

I grip my gun blurred my vision i use the butt of the gun push my self off the floor

I yell my my family my name my contry i die hear i pull the trigger let out a burst

of bullets. and then ten the last noise i would hear the thump now theres blood running

From my skull here i will die here i have proven my self as a marine here is where i fall apart

Twenty-one shots a flag and a salute and i have done my job god rest my soul and bless those otheres counting to ten
