with the release of the ps3 only a few hours away (where i live) i thought it would be nice for me to remind you all of reasons to not buy the ps3 and possibly even buy the wii or 360.

also, with the wii you get the satisfaction of knowing that nintendo, renown for quality work on consoles, wont break down on you and with the 360 you know all the kinks have long been worked out.

As you have see the PS3 has a hot exhaust. The temp went up to 109.2F then the thermometer frizzed out.

lastly, its 600 dollars for a game system. blu-ray is useless without a hdtv and its also too risky to spend that much money on an unproven format. at least with the 360 you can choose if u want to spend the money and rumors are that MS might even come out with a blu-ray add-on if hd-dvd does fail. win-win situation.

Well if it had came out durning the launch like Big Bill said it was then it would have affected sales, because it would boost sales of the 360 during the holidays. But if it comes out in spring, you wont see a ton of people throwing down hundreds to buy a new system just to play one game. But that is my opinion.

whether your willing to admit it or not, the original halo is proof that a single game can sell a console. i doubt very much that halo 3 will be as epic as the original halo though.
