Just thought I'd make a quick post here. Apparently someone did something, either hacked the site or stole an admin account. I think a newsletter was sent out too, but there's nothing dangerous in the newsletter so you can just delete it. :blush2: ..suppose I need to update things around here.

Funny story. I have two facebook accounts. The XGhozt one got disabled for some reason and they won't let me login to it or reset the password without provide a real photo ID with the name "XGhozt Chris" on it. They also won't disable/delete the account either, so I get email notifications that I can't opt-out of.

Ya'll have no idea how humbling it is to see threads like this still popping up. I would love to get things started up again and I in fact tried to a few times already. The problem is I just don't have the time like I used to. When I was running this site and got to it's peak, I basically always had it open. On my phone, school computers, laptop(s) and I didn't go 6 hours without doing SOMETHING. Now I have grown-up things to do like a job, bills, family. I will keep this site up for many years to come since it doesn't cost me anything. I've thought about hosting the battle.net server for Starcraft 1 (remember? where hacks were allowed? haha). Or even modernizing the forums a bit with a new theme and updated software. Problem is that will cost several hundred dollars to jump start and at least a week of dev time. Everyone here really made a big impact on my life and I'll never forget the awesome time we had together. I suspect I'm not the only one who feels the same and that's exactly why our community lasted as long as it did... and still lingers. :hi2: If I ever had a chance to settle down and focus, you can bet that I would be here jump-starting something. Maybe in 2016. Edit: On a side note, if anyone wants host a gameserver and/or add new forum sections for other games please send ma PM and I can create those at least.

Unfortunately, that map is lost forever. :( I don't have time to build it again, and the original authors don't play Terraria anymore.

I played a game of Phantom earlier today, and one of the Phantoms in the game built up so many carriers my FPS went to 3. How would one defeat this using Protoss? We did eventually defeat him by working together (obviously), but if it was a 1v1, what's the best counter from Protoss for mass carriers?

Glad to see you're doing well! Yeah! The Army System was pretty fun. I've been meaning to learn some java and make an Android app, thought it would be fun.

The once thriving community that still lurks here no longer plays the games and have mostly grown up or moved on to other things. You guys are welcome to add some more files and/or categories (PM me to create whatever). I do like the fact that it's turned into the largest archive of these kinds of files. Maybe I should boot up the ol' battle.net hacking server and see if they still work.

Hi everyone! Good news! Over the last 4 years or so I have been keeping a close eye on this domain and waiting for the right time to jump on it. I realize at this point it doesn't have too much monetary value, but I figured I'd get it for sentimental reasons. I'm sure there are people who to do this still type it by accident. The DNS is propagating now, you should be able to start using it within the next 24 hours. So, we now have "Ghoztcraft.com", "Ghoztcraft.net" and "Ghoztcraft.org", but I am keeping the .net domain as our primary. Edit: Also managed to secure this.

Necroing this.. this is one of my favorite games. A must buy.

No no, he never had THAT. He just stole everything else. Basically.. here's what happened: I created this website when I was 15 (ish), and I had no idea what the difference between a .com and .net was. I wanted to be "cool" and so I got the .net domain. Then some ad agency bought the .com and start making money off my domain from all the people typing it wrong out of habbit. So I tried to buy it (this was in 2009/2010), but they wanted over $1000 for it, so I gave up.. and I setup a back order to keep track of it. It went up for auction for $500 and I talked them down to around $100 and just went for it. Lessen, learned.

OMG, fuck that guy, lol. Hah! Good times though.
