  1. about 3 weeks into college, nothing really going on. Still basically have 100%s in all of my classes. (you don't get much grades until essays/tests)

taking College Algebra, Writing About Literature, Concepts of Positive Living and History of Civilizations

  2. I'd have to go with The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask... that's my favorite; it used to be Ocarina of Time, buuut, Majora's Mask is in some ways better: the story is brilliant, even moreso (in my opinion) than Ocarina of Time's, although I still love Ocarina. The gameplay aspects such as different forms were fun, more fun than the adult form, which just gave more power, and access to different items... The challenge is much higher, and the story of the world itself is so indepth, so real...

But all things considered, they're both great games.

Also, on a side note, StarCraft and its expansion Brood War, are ownage too. :P

    I'm compelled to agree

his re-texture started off on September 15th 2008' date=' the aim of this retexture was to keep as close to the original texture as possible while still adding what the original developers could not produce due to the technical limitations of the Nintendo 64 and also funding.

The project was originally pushed by Mode7 after being dropped by death-droid on the 28th of September. The pack rapidly gained interest from many artists and people looking to try and help out in any way they can. After Mode7 left for study abroad on July, 28 2009, Death-Droid gained the responsibility of handling and compiling all textures together in a pack and uploading it everytime and update is needed. There have being many large contributions from the community some being Zeckron, Chieftain459, mode7, chaoszerox and many more, over the 2 years this project has being running.

As of July 31st 2010 the pack has an uncompressed, unoptemized size of 750mb with over 3,665 textures and 279 folders.[/quote']

The fanboi inside of me is going crazy. Can't believe I never came upon this in the past. It makes me want to learn how to retexture and try to help out. I'll probably get frustrated after a few hours of trying to make something and failing though.

It's about two years since this project started but it's still being discussed and actively updated.

    Edit: This ones cooler: http://www.emutalk.net/showthread.php?t=49340

  4. Holy shit Anime_Freak_ you certainly are involved with high-tier stuff.

It's funny to hear about The Wheel of Time series! Do you know why it's 13 books? Because the author DIED before he finished the series! The 13 books do not the end the story - it's in the middle of nothing! Also my sister used to read it. It was like 5 years ago. Apparently she continued to suffer and indulge herself in the pain that involved reading the series because the first few books were good, and afterwards, it was mostly about feeling the dark forces and puking on every single page, and NOTHING happened. At least, that is what she told me - and I do not doubt her words.

I'm taking a masochistic approach to reading. It might not necessarily be fun doing it but I force myself to so that I am getting a better education. I've been stuck on Dante's Inferno for like a month but I'm finally about to finish it.

  5. i didn't stop reading because it was too long, mostly because it's authored by an amateur writer and it's about a klondike bar. I'm an avid reader my booklist right now is dante's inferno, les miserables, the aeneid, great expectations, and the scarlet letter. I don't read garbage Kthxbai

  6. ghouls are usually used to rush, i would use CL as a hero for summons and take 2 acolytes with you so you can tower rush. You'll need probly about 8 ghouls or something. You'll have to drastically modify your build order so you have the proper resources and timing to sustain it though. I would dig around at WCReplays.com

  7. I hate when one song is extremely soft, so you turn up the volume, then the next are normal volume and so you die.

I found a solution to your problem so i couldn't help but return to this thread to share it with you!

There is a "Technique" called ReplayGain which specifies the dB level of your audio files and uses an algorithm to adjust the perceived data.

Replay Gain is the name of a technique invented to achieve the same playback volume of audio files. It specifies the reference level of 89dB and an algorithm to measure the perceived loudness of audio data.

Replay Gain allows the loudness of each song within a collection of songs to be consistent. This is called 'Track Gain', or 'Radio Gain' in earlier parlance. It also allows the loudness of a specific sub-collection (an "album") to be consistent with the rest of the collection, while allowing the dynamics from song to song on the album to remain intact. This is called 'Album Gain', or 'Audiophile Gain' in earlier parlance. This is usually important when listening to classical music albums, because quiet tracks need to remain a certain degree quieter than the louder ones.

    Replay Gain - Hydrogenaudio Knowledgebase

    this comes included in foobar2000

also it's better than zhuinden's solution, IN YOUR FACE :P

  8. Perhaps it's time to consider getting a new router? You could buy one from a store and test it out to see if it fixes the problem and if it doesn't just take the router back and get a refund for it. It could also perhaps be a bad fiber optic cable or even your internet connection. if the router doesn't fix it I would suggest calling your broadband provider and troubleshooting with them to figure out the reason, if they can't fix it over the phone more than likely they will send out an internet maintenance technician who will fix the problem for you. Probably for a small fee less than 100 dollars.

edit: actually since it's a very intermittent problem you'll probably have to inquire about getting someone sent.

  9. I mean while fixing it yourself is always an ideal situation, there are times when it is simply better to contact professional help. You could continue to try all of the obscure suggestions of semi-qualified people and hope that through all of the frustration and time spent on it your problem is somehow solved or you could spend a little bit of money and have someone who knows what they're doing fix it for you. It is also quite probable that if you calculate the time and frustration trying to fix the computer and weigh it against how much time it takes to earn the amount of money to pay someone else to do it that it will come out in favor of the latter. Best of luck for no matter what you choose.

  10. If you hold the phone a certain way, the antenna doesn't work.

LOL! You have got to be kidding me?

Correct, he is kidding. If you visited the link you would see that Apple highlights the real problem.

Not so, Apple said today. How you grip any cell phone can affect the antenna.

The real problem is that the formula the iPhone uses to estimate signal strength "is totally wrong."

Cell phones measure signal strength by bars in the screen. In Apple's case, the bars are in the upper left corner of its screen.

How bad is the formula? Really bad, Apple conceded.

"Our formula, in many instances, mistakenly displays 2 more bars than it should for a given signal strength," the company said in a statement on its Web site today.

  11. oh. What are you majoring in?

Biology/Pre-Medical, but I'm still rather undecided about what I'm really passionate about. It's just my plan A, if all that falls through i'm going to move to India and try to become a buddhist monk.

  12. Noice courses guys, I never took anything like that in high school lol unless flunking counts.
