    Comparing Two Graphic Cards

Alright good deal! I really do appreciate the assistance guys! GTX 460 it is! Also on a side note, glad to see Ghoztcraft is still running strong! It's been quite some time since I've last visited but I knew you guys would be the help I was looking for! I don't want to get sentimental, but I hope all is well with you XGhozt and Cripp!
  2. SOLVED Long story short... I built a new desktop computer for myself with one of my friends about a year ago and I just decided it's time for an upgrade. I need help deciding which graphics card is better overall and why (if possible). Here are the two cards I'm comparing... 1.) EVGA GeForce GTX 460 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130567 2.) EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130625 When it comes to hardware, I'm at a loss most of the time. I've picked up bits and pieces along the way but I'd rather have sage advice. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    Starcraft Resolution Problem

A few weeks back I was able to play Starcraft on my laptop in fullscreen. But now I when I run Starcraft it appears to be at a very small resolution in the center of the screen with thick black margins. I don't know why this has happened or what I may have done to cause this. Any help would be appreciated. A few pieces of information that may be useful are... 1.) I'm using Windows XP Professional SP3 2.) I've got .NET Framework 1.1-3.5 3.) My screen resolution is 1024x768 4.) I run Starcraft using a virtual drive & virtual image file 5.) My account has admin privileges 6.) Intel Pentium III processor 7.) 256 MB of RAM The odd thing is I don't remember changing anything that would have affected the resolution of the game. Anyway, like I said above, any help is appreciated. Thanks!

    Port Forwarding BS

OK so I've got a quick question. First off, I'm having trouble with port forwarding. Here's the problem -- I can't host games in Starcraft on my laptop. Now I know you have to forward (open) port 6112 and I've done that successfully already. So I can host games and people can join with no problem while I'm playing on my desktop. However, when I'm on my laptop users are unable to join the games I create. I don't understand why though if it's still the same port and I'm still using the same router. Any advice?

    Port Forwarding BS

It was just a matter of correcting my static IP address. I had port 6112 opened on both UDP and TCP using the IP address 192.168.1.102. So I checked the properties on my network connection and I had 192.168.1.100 as my static IP. So I just switched 100 to 102. Kind of a dumb mistake actually. But the odd thing is that uTorrent said it's port was open even though I was using a different static IP address. But yeah, that's all I did to fix it.

    Does anyone know how to...

Does anyone know a decent program that allows you to control bandwidth consumption? Ever since I introduced my sister to Demonoid, she has been uploading things like no tomorrow. Therefore.. anything I do involving internet is delayed. Sometimes it's so bad that I can't even load Google. It's almost impossible to do anything when she's doing this. So if anyone has insight as to how I can control bandwidth consumption, please share! Thanks! :)
