Heres how to join/connect to a WoW private server. I will be using Chaos Crusade as an example:

 

1. Go register at their site: http://www.chaoscrusade.com/page.php?5

2. Go to your World of Warcraft folder

3. Locate your realmlist.wtf (NO ITS NOT WHAT THE FUCK!!!)

4. Open realmlist.wtf with notepad

5a. Delete all it says there, and type: set realmlist login.chaoscrusade.com

5b. Make a line ABOVE the us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com (eu for europe players) and type: set realmlist login.chaoscrusade.com, then edit the

set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com

set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com

 

to

 

#set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com

#set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com

 

so it should look like

 

set realmlist login.chaoscrusade.com

#set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com

#set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com

.

6. Start Wow.exe (No, you cant start with launcher.exe, it will connect to bliz serverz.

I would never pay that much for game play. It is simply ripping people off and taking advantage of their addiction. :D

Union1, that depends on what you like.

If you wanna go around and kill people probly take an instant 70.

If you wanna make your way up (Boooring) then choose blizzlike.

Personally, i would recommend Chaoscrusade or WoWscape, but never choose toxicwow.
