If Flirch had a lot less stars, my vote would have gone to him.

 

I was between Zar and Shadow, but in shadow's the planet wasn't blended nearly as well as Zar's.

 

Zar, I don't like the bottom left corner in yours, and the rocket ship should be a little more transparent, but out of all you win.

Also, i voted for Flirch's. However, i didn't like the red dots and the black spots... and there are too many stars. And the "ch" just looks funny.
