What do you think Ghoztcraft needs?

Hey everyone,

 

I know I've been hard to reach lately, and things should pick up to normal eventually. So, I wanted to get this new topic started.. I want to know, in your opinion, what you think Ghoztcraft needs. So, post your ideas, anything from a new forum design, staff, forum changes or anything. New events, new ideas, changes or One thing to keep in mind, make sure that if your idea isn't free, that you also have an idea to fund it.

 

So, let's hear it? What do we need to maintain this place huh?

Activity in the General Chat and Serious Discussion, and a bit more broadly anywhere on the site outside of the Graphics section.

 

Also, nothing has really happened around here, because there's not much that can be done. The AS has been quite boring lately, especially after Cripp weeped out that VIP members cannot be modified in any way (which was kinda long ago). Also, there's still no Bank. I thought you'd set that back.

More competitions, not just graphics ones. Something like short stories, poems, something that can be done by everyone not just a select few.

I think we have a poems section, and you can post short stories in the blog if you want. In fact, I encourage everyone to post in the blog. If you can't post in it, then I can fix that.

 

Suggestion forum within Web Site Related so we can pitch them.

That's what this whole section is for, so feel free to do so.

but I think people here can't be sure that they download something usable.

So the VIP section is bad now because we also collect files that are public?

 

Disregard all of the private hacks that we have and had have in the VIP section over the years. We have some public files so lets criticize that. ^_^

well ur right about the VIP section, there havent been any VIP worthy files in a long time. the last good VIP file i can remember was the zDrop but that was more then 6 months ago, i am still hoping that one day we will yet again see a private SC hack, maybe one day...

yes but its not the easiest thing in the world to do for a game that is dieing, when starcraft 2 comes out we will get 1 and 2 but until then we will just be a community k thx bye

Yes, for now we do specialize in starcraft but as i said its dieing.... and when Starcraft 2 comes out we will change our specialization to it.

 

I also know about BWH but my opinion on them is biased so I'm going to keep quite on my thoughts about them and their community.

I wasn't asking for anyone to post about our problems. I was asking for anyone to post our solutions.

 

I'm well aware of our dusty downloads, and it's because I need help maintaining it. I can't keep track of 20 games on my own, anyone interested in helping manage the downloads, feel free to start submitting hacks to the database or PM me to be a download manager. If anything, I find your comments rather complimenting, thanks for noticing, we'll get right on that. :thumbsup:

 

So.. thanks for noticing, got any solutions.. no? Then make your own damn thread.
