Help with running Sc without disc

I read all the instructions but now when I put the INSTALL file in my Sc folder it says '' Cannot copy INSTALL: Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)'' And I have Bw installed with the 1.15.2 patch. Help me please

Download the game in ISO form from Torrent. Your CD is dead.

Well it does say something about a CRC error. I don't think that is healthy.

 

When exactly does it give you that error? When you copy it from the disc?

cyclical redundancy errors are annoying.

 

I've played with them before. It let me use them but I couldn't copy. I dunno if it's always like that.

 

Best bet would be to download sc like Zhuinden suggested.
