JoshJayK 16,648 Posted January 8, 2009 Can somebody supply me with some good VISTA themes and matching backgrounds? Much appreciated. Share this post Link to post
ShadowScourge 61 Posted January 8, 2009 Are you asking for a wallpaper? If so, screen size plx. If you're asking for the whole theme... iono. >_> Share this post Link to post
Zar 696 Posted January 8, 2009 Google for the whole theme thing. I don't trust any vista themes but there might be some that aren't full of viruses. Wallpapers can do. Share this post Link to post
ShadowScourge 61 Posted January 8, 2009 Generally i just stick with a color theme, and then swap out wallpapers whenever i find a good one, or i tired of my old one. :) Share this post Link to post
Magical_Trever 60 Posted January 8, 2009 I personally think my Warcraft 3 Undead wallpaper goes well with a blue vista theme. It may a bit too neon for you but if it floats your boat then use it. my desktop http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd300/D...o/undead2-1.png Share this post Link to post
Kenshyn 638 Posted January 9, 2009 I found this vista wall paper, and I absolutely loved it: http://technology.desktopnexus.com/wallpaper/31279/ http://technology.desktopnexus.com/wallpaper/31278/ http://technology.desktopnexus.com/wallpaper/31277/ Uploaded by none other than, me. The first one is my favorite. As for vista themes, you could always try out the brico pack. I personally have never tested it out, but my friend at school has it. http://www.crystalxp.net/galerie/en.id.130.htm If you don't want that, go here: http://www.stardock.com/ Download Window Blinds Then go here: http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?ski...34&libid=31 Install Window Blinds, then install that theme. If you don't like that one, look around on their website. Do note that Window Blinds can be a resource hog, but I hardly notice it at all, and I run 256 RAM with a 2.2 single core Share this post Link to post
ShadowScourge 61 Posted January 10, 2009 The stardock and wincustomize (back when i used it in 2000 and XP) always lagged my system... mostly because my computers were SHIT. But besides the system, lots of the themes are seriously amazing. I'd stick with themes meshed with the original system one, even hacked in, rather than using separate programs... But that's just me.
