Theme ideas for Photography Competitions

Post up any themes that you would like to see in future signature of the weeks. All themes will be thought through, so try to keep the spam out. :P

 

Say what theme, and if the theme is something complicated/generic(like a theme dealing with heat), tell us what you MEAN by heat.

 

Example of a bad post:

I think feet should be a theme. By that i mean feet.

Example of a good post:

I think a theme should be temperature. By that I mean signatures that deal with extremes in heat or cold.

 

Try not to get off topic too.

I think a theme should be growth. By that I mean photos that deal with something growing.

 

Eg. A sprouting flower, a steam cloud, marker colors bleeding into paper.

 

Anything that shows something getting bigger/smaller/growing in any way.

I always think nature makes a good topic, just make it specific things in nature so it isn't always the same. For example; flowing water, trees, animals.

A nice theme would be a universe/space theme :)

If you have access to a photoshoot with Meagan Fox than by all means, share. :P

 

Another good theme would be time; Perhaps the Photography Competition could be altered for this theme by being able to use two pictures, a before and an after image. For example:

 

Before: A barren street

After: A street covered in snow
