How many controllers can you use for one game? Are there any games that require you to use 2 wii controllers, or do you use only 1 at the same time?

Well, if you're playing multiplayer, then you can use up to four.

 

Unless there is a way to connect two Wiis together, which I've never heard of.

 

Single player, all you'll need is one.

Most Wii games include a Multiplayer and it's usually more fun to play the games with more than one person.

 

You only need one controller for a person to play singleplayer(A complete controller consists of a Wiimote and a Nunchuck, but most games don't require the nunchuck) but it's a lot more fun with many, so I would suggest you buy 2 Wiimotes. (And two nunchucks if you do so desire)

You can also share controllers for games that are multiplayer, but require you to take turns like Wii Sports
