WoW Patch 4.1: Rise of the Zandalari

rise-zandalari-notes.jpg

Patch 4.1 is live this week and clocks in at around 300MB in size. While most of that is more than likely data for Firelands and patch 4.2 -- due to this patch focusing on updating existing zones -- there's still a sizeable amount of content in the update.

You'll find two new level 85 dungeons available for play' date=' with a reimaginig of both Zul'Gurub and Zul'Aman, adding new boss encounters, rare mounts and companion pets, and epic items of item level 353.

Also added in the patch are a few improvements for World of Warcraft's guild system. Guilds can now complete a limited number of "guild challenges," rewarding the guild with experience that goes beyond the daily cap, as well as a nice chunk of gold for the guild bank. Likewise, players looking for a guild will have access to a new in-game guild finder. While it's no Wowstead recruitment, you'll find it handy in a pinch.

The Dungeon Finder has been improved as well, adding a new Call to Arms feature. Essentially, if you're a DPS you're out of luck. However, if you enjoy tanking or healing then you may receive an additional satchel upon completing random dungeons, rewarding gold, and a chance at gems, flasks, pets and mounts. You'll also find the Dungeon Finder far more forgiving when grinding Valor, as it's been changed from a daily to something that can be completed seven times within a given week.

There are a ton of changes in this patch, so check out the trailer and full notes below.
