No, lightning are the best. They have energy shield an then you get teleconisis which lowers the damage to your mana so they pull very little to your mana and pretty much never hit you

Just go light. If you get right equipment, then your mana will be high. Energy Shield defends you and mana will reg fast. Go lite lite lite!!!!

Don't build a fire sorc cuz the suck. Fire sorc sucks because there are a lot of immunes in hell that are fire immune. Like in act 4 most of the conucil member are either fire immune or lightning immune. So i would have to say that the best sorc for diablo 2 is probably the cold sorc. my friend has one he does a lot of damage. He's rush almost all my characters all the way through hell. That is how good a cold sorc can be if you build it right.
