Fade?

Hey guys, how do I add a fade effect in photoshop? So I can like take one image on top of another and make it look like it sorta faded from one to the other. You know, like get rid of the edge. :P

use the eraser and set it to erase the background... Then set it to like 30% intensity that way you don't erase a clear hole right through your top image. :P

set the top layer to 50% opacity.

I did that, I made the logo that we have now, but its not not exactly what I wanted.

Well, my way will work.... if your not too lazy to make it look good...

You can always blur it and set it to overlay :(

 

Or just set the opacity to 50%

i get what your saying now, what you do is go to the top layer, take the vertical selection tool and set the feather to like 100, select the right most part of whats on that layer and then delete.
