Starcraft Simple Maphack Help

For those of you experienced SC hackers I have a question. I am trying to make a simple undetectable two state maphack. Would it be as simple as toggling the fog of war on/off and finding the offsets for the two of them? or is there something more to a maphack then that?

 

Any help/offsets/tips/CODE is very appreciated, I am trying to add a maphack to N3xuiZ :P
