"Diablo II" and "Battle.net" are registered®, trademarked™, and copyrighted© by Blizzard Entertainment©™® DIABLO II MULTI GAME TOOL! ____________________________ version 1.0 by ~Diabl0 correspondence should be sent to: [email protected] CHECK FOR UPDATES OFTEN! some utilities are improving with newer versions. more utilities are being added with newer versions! how to use this program. _______________________ this program is VERY user friendly and you can skip reading the instructions. come back to the help section if you are still experiencing technical difficulties. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ HELP SECTION: INSTALL _______ *note: this part of the program is meant for EXPANSION ONLY! if you dont have the expansion to Diablo II installed then this WONT WORK! on the install tab, you should see that "set 1:" is already filled out for you. that is the cdkey set you used when you installed Diablo II and the Expansion. if something went wrong, (such as Diablo II is not installed) you will get this message: "d2keys.exe failed to run, or a file is missing/corrupted. press ok to continue" that means you can still use the program, but you will have to enter your installed key manually, or not at all if you wish. you may enter more sets in the blank fields and press the "add to list" button to add these sets to the list. one set for each game you want open. if you have a list of keys already, you may enter them by clicking on the "load cd keys from a list" button. then you select a .txt file you want to open. the .txt file you open should contain a list of keys in order. the first keys provided in cdkeys.txt will be your installed keys and you can add to that list, or choose another .txt file other than cdkeys.txt and add your installed keys to that list yourself if they arent already there. the way keys should be in the .txt file should be your Diablo II key on the first line, your expansion key on the second line, a new Diablo II key on the third line, a new expansion key on the fourth line... and so on and so forth. like this example: diab-loii-cdke-y123 expa-nsio-ncdk-ey12 d2d2d2d2d2d2d2d2 exexexexexexexex 1234-abcd-5678-efgh 9876zyxw5432vuts keys may be entered in any case sensitivity and they may be entered with or without dashes "-" each line should be 16 characters long (without dashes) or 19 characters long (with dashes) or the program will give you an error. you should have an even number of lines in your .txt file! dont put any spaces anywhere! the list should have no lines that are blank! this is including the end of the text file. if you leave blank lines at the end of the file you will get an error when trying to load from the list. go to the bottom of the file and press backspace until the cursor is on the end of the last key you entered to make sure that there is no blank lines. then just open the .txt file and it will add the keys to the programs list. once you have enough keys in the programs list, click the "install" button (under the "add to list" button) and the program will install all keys on the list for you without all the hastle of doing it yourself! once you have installed your sets the program will create a folder inside its directory named "Diablo Shortcuts", and you can find all your links for the games there. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ NO-CD (coming soon! Just need a host for the files lol) _____ this will download and install the needed files from online for playing Diablo II without the cd in the disk drive. these files were not included with the program because of size issues and you may need to configure any firewall you may have running to allow internet access to the program when using this feature. this is very useful if you dont have the cd or your cd is damaged and you want to play without the cd. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ MISC ____ included are some more utilities, some are still works in progress. Some arent even there... but they will be! I will be adding more as I see fit. IgGy-0-MaTiC: Ignore a list of users on battle.net (coming soon!) PiNg-0-MaTiC: enter an ip address (default is your computer and you can ping yourself) might be useful for battle.net and thats why i made this utility. HARD CORE: if you already are able to play hardcore, then you need not worry. if you have not beaten the game yet, click this button to enable hardcore now! (does not work for single player or open battle net. closed battle net only) DONT CLICK: (removed at richies request) its DEFINATELY not good. but for those of you who cant resist, i cant stop you. take my word for it, you DO NOT want to click this!!! B.net Messenger: (possibly coming soon! If I feel like it) talk to your friends on battle.net without having any game from Blizzard installed! (includes Diablo, Warcraft, Starcraft... etc... etc...) SpAm-0-RaMa: (Coming soon! Unfinished for new patch) not clientless, you need Diablo II installed. this will spam messages in channels only and NOT in games! you can pause it but cannot spam during gameplay. (soon to be improved for in-game spamming AND spamming during gameplay!) (also possibly might make clientless) Mule-Perm: (Gettin around to it... eventually) if you know what a mule is, if you know what perming is, and if you know that you have to perm a character when you first create one, then you will be glad to know that this is coming soon! QUICK-pass-CHANGE: (broken with new patch! back to the drawing board) this is totally clientless. you dont need the game installed! a word of caution... be careful to store your passwords carefully! lost passwords cannot be retreived! (coming soon hopefully) LIGHT-BRIGHT: this will get rid of that nasty darkness in the game! although I cant seem to get it working right now... _____________________________________________________________________________________ Q & A section _____________ some add-ons may not be finished in d2multitool, but they may still be in the readme. 1. where can i get extra cd key sets? __________________________________ purchase extra copies of the game from a store, trade with your friends, buy them from other players or beg for them in a forum but that probably wont work. you could use this program to peek at someone elses keys if you are on their computer and they have Diablo II installed, but dont use their keys unless you ask them first! 2. why dont you include in your downloads section ALL of the files from the Diablo II cd for those of us dont have Diablo II installed, or have an error with their current installed files? _____________________________________________________________________________________ Because even though im not giving any cd keys out, giving away an entire game (Diablo II) for free without blizzard's permission seems unwise, to say the least. 3. (coming soon!) why does it take so long to ignore everyone on my ignore list? (IgGy-0-MaTiC) _____________________________________________________________________________ packet flooding will cause a loss of connection to battle.net. it would be nice to have a permanent ignore list built into battle.net but unfortunately we dont have that feature. the longer the list the longer the wait. everyone on the list is NOT automatically squelched when you use the IgGy-0-MaTiC. time is added between each user ignored to avoid loss of connection from battle.net. there may also be a limit on the amount of users that battle.net allows you to ignore but i have not verified this. 4. when will the next version of this program be available? can i make any suggestions? ____________________________________________________________________________________ I will release new versions when i feel they are working and finished. suggestions can be sent to [email protected] 5. Is this a virus or keylogger? _____________________________ Currently this program is only available through: www.rpgforums.com if you have downloaded this file from any other source then it is possible that the file is infected. please check the version of d2multitool as the read me will change and the file may be available from other trusted sources in the future. ____________________________________________________________________________________ this program uses loader 1.11 available by itself from www.rpgforums.com Thanks go to onlyer who made the loader that this program uses, and also the person who hacked and updated the loader for patch 1.11!
