making custom sc unit colors?

I wanted to make my own colors for units but i dont know how. I have Starforge which has other colors but i didnt make them ;

Unless making a mod and editing the files that the game gathers the color from.

Of course with only image edits you can still play with others, but they can't see the colors you see

the colors would also have to be in a limited pallete of colors

ok so that failed, then how about ingame colored text. Did they patch that too?

I THINK it was only patched in the game name.

To test, put the colors in a bunch of unit names and have a friend try to join a created game

If they can't join then they are =\

they patched MOST color names/text for sure, ive tried lots of shit, and only a select few still work

 

and in game unit's colors, just changed the owner to a different player and it will change color
