Possible Virus - d2 dupe HELP!!

Hello, when I was playing diablo 2 I saw a guy message another guy, but he messed up on the whisper instead of /w he put w/ so everyone in the chat room saw the messge, it said something like > Hey *accountname dont buy hrs, just use my dupe program, its cracked ect ect, he said the url (which I wont post here unless is alirght by admins)

 

so anyways I went to the website and it showed some screenshots and a link to a dupe program called sdupe.rar

in the text file it says

 

Shop Dupe v 3.0 for 1.11b (cracked)

 

 

1. Unrar

2. Close D2

3. Run sdupe.exe

4. Run D2

6. Hold item you want to dupe on mouse cursor.

7. Press END

anyways I dont want to install a keylogger or virus, my avg antiviurs says its clean, but I uploaded the exe to

There is supposedly no hack program out there that can dupe items at this time if its not on regular hack sites like this one i wouldnt trust the program.

Its most likely fake. I have never seen a dupe hack in almost 3 years of playing Diablo 2.

It is a virus. This is a very obvious scam. It was a bot set up to purposely spam a broken whisper message so everyone can see it and do exactly what you did. The only dupe method you will get right now is one of the many different lag dupe variants.

DELETE IT IMMEDIATLY! I know that program. It is a worm and it infects your email first and sends the file to all of the people in your address book. Then it infects your computer and multiplies until all of your RAM is constantly being used up and you have no choice but to use a restoration disc.
