Can't Change Wallpaper

Hey guys, I can't change my desktop at all. I can set the color of the icon shadows and that's all. I even tried right clicking an image and setting as background, doesn't work. I am on the administrator account. Can anyone help?

try opening up your picture you want with the default windows pic viewer, right click>set as desktop background or wallpaper. and tell me how it goes.

I already tried those.

Getting rid of Spyware did nothing.

And setting it as background from a webpage doesn't work.

if all else fails get Windows blinds and use that to try to change your wallpaper, or try using DesktopX

maybe this is a possibility you got a spyware/virus it did something to your system files, and you removed it, but your system files are still damaged

You probably received something that changed your registry and set it to not let you change your wallpaper. If that is the case you could try system restore backto when you could change it. Good luck
