Im not disabling guest acces, then I lose clicks on my ads, etc..

I cant replace it with the flashchat becuase the flash chat uses even more cpu, heeelllooo its FLASH and not mysql based.

 

ghozt, if you're smart you'll disable guest access to the shoutbox.

i mean if you lose some clicks for ads who cares. i mean would you rather lose a few clicks or ur site or spend $300 a year to maintain it.

 

also, make it show only like 15 or 10 shouts instead of howmuch its set at. it would be an inconvience to read previous shouts, but then again, its either a small inconvinence or paying $300 a year or losing your site.

 

perhaps you're wrong about the radio part. i suggest turning it off every once in a while, like when you're not using it just turn it off and when u use it turn it on..

i mean its like a normal household light. you can leave it on and say it is taking virtually no electricity to run, but in progress it'll add up to a lot of electrcity.

Well ghozt does do Contests and stuff to give away V.I.P. The problem is the whole point of V.I.P. is to raise money to keep the site running, and to upgrade it.. So that kind of defeats the purpose...LOL
