they have things called "patches" that are custom made by people who felt like making them. Unfortunately, everyone has to have the same patch running in order to play in the same game together. This however changes the unit sprite only for you. So it lets you play using modded sprites with other people.

ViperGTSR3g since when did we got rocket scientist in this forum yes that is sarcasim speaking lol anyways what ViperGTSR3g is saying it is only for the player using the mod no one else can see it and i'm pretty sure even if the other player is using it you won't see it but not fully sure on that think it is client side only .

yes, the "hack" I guess, is client side only. This is why you can play online with other people. If it weren't client side, only, you would get dropped the moment you tried playing with other people.
