RSS Feeds?

Hey people. What do you guys think of adding an rss feed section?

Basically you can tell me what websites to add, and what would happen is that in the rss section news from other sites would get created as topics here and everyone can post/talk about them. It ight give you guys something else to talk about or look at while your here.

But it does create topics, so it will be in the recent topics list on the main page and forums.

 

So, if you guys are not going to read or discuss the topics then its not worth it. I will make it only create 1 or 2 a day and see how it goes if you guys want to try this. It can export news from other websites (ie: purgehosting's news) and post them here automatically. Any sites that have a little "RSS" button on them, just send me a link and we can add them.

 

So, what do you think, I can make a demo if you want.

Just find sites that don't post in their news like 50 times a day and we should be good. :P

I can set the feed to create only so many topics a day though.

I would suggest getting G4's "The Feed" RSS ...Feed. Most of the events/news they post are game and technology related but I'm not sure how often they post articles.

G4's Feed posts new articles everyday. It ranges from like possibly 10-20 maybe even more new articles a day though. They do a lot of research...

I've added the feeds. I was unable to add G4's however.

It says their feed is not valid.

 

Keep in mind, it will create a max of 1 topic every 30 minuets. You should be able to reply to the topics.
