When i sat i live feet from the river, i mean it literally. This is looking off my porch.

Side Views. The Pile of works we are going to use to rebuild the wall.

Closer View of my porch. Can kinda see some of the flood damage.. Yes that is a stop sign under my porch.....

Where the window of our crawl Space used to be.. The flood washed it out. We don't use our crawl space. We have to have the whole crawl space re insulated cause it got all wet.

What we call the back but is really the other side. Because techniclly the back is the part thats facing the river.

Lol it looks like a lake but it's just a slower Part of the Paulinskill River. Rivers Flood, lakes take alot more to flood because it's mostly one complete body of water. There is nothing really contributing to a lake.

 

And indeed i do live almost in the middle of no where. I am very greatfull of that. I also am able to get to work in less then 10 minutes which is a job that pays the bills. Also very fortunate there. Only Down Side is that we have fucking ass holes for neighbors. We only have 2 neighbors and they just had to be terrible. Other wise it would be perfect.

 

Also if you compare som of these pics with the flood pics i posted you'll get an idea of the hight of the water.
