Army System Balance.

In yet another attempt to balance the army system. here are the changes that ahve occured.

 

unfortunatly It did require a reset.

REASONS WHY

With the last reset it was brought to my knowledge that there was money that did not get reset and trasfered with the reset. I am going to make the public aware so for futre referance everyone will know and there won't be any unfair disadvantage.

 

For those who do not know about guilds go create one even if you are the only one in the guild. Here's why. In the guild there is a option to store Money in Both the Tresury and Genral fund. You can store up to the money cap in each. It can serve as a bank for you to save Money in. This is one thing that carried over and did not get reset. Which allowed people to jump out to the lead very quickly.

 

The other Area you can store money is in the casino wallet. It was brought to my attention that there is no limit to the amount you can store in this. You can go over the limit. People had over 80 million GPs that did not get reset. Thats how they gained a lead so quickly.

 

We'll Call both those "carry over money" for future referance.

 

SO with those disadvantages i have reset the Army system so every one is again on a fair playing field. I have made it so you Start with 100 Attack turns and 20 of each of the other units. All other upgrades have been put back to their original position as there is no way to tell who used "carry over money" to upgrade.

 

Note: There is no way of checking that no one else has "Carry over " money. If you do have it and you abuse it and i catch you you'll be banned from the army system for a month. Basiclly if you have it just don't shoot to the top all of the sudden. Stay with the others who are trying to play fairly.

 

To those who didn't use "carry over money" I do appologize but look at it this way you have another chance to not fall behind so far. if you lose intrest i'm sorry. I hope at some point once this Army system gets balanced you'll come back. my thoughts are that the people who are playing now are the die hards that have dealt with the several resets before minus a few good members.

 

Also. To keep People from getting rich so quickly I have lowerd the amount of money you get for each unit. I'm going off the whole "Save to buy" method. There are still numerous ways to gain Money.

Posting

Casino

Asking others for money.

 

So use the Guilds and the Wallet in the casino and start saving!

EDIT Unit Upgrade Has been set to go up by 1 each upgrade.

 

If any one is in disagreement post here in a rational manor and i'll answer you as best that i can. Also as i said in the other news article about the army system, These changes at this time are only temporary but if there are no major problems can become the standard.

Please Note. I can now check the spy Logs in the army system. For those that know about the spy/sabotage gitch DO NOT USE IT ANY MORE! From this point on if I catch you using it Action will be taken. Progressivly more severe the higher the offence.

Lowerd all item repair costs at least by half.. Was getting alot of complaints and I too agree it was too much to repair some of the items.

 

Also we're gonna try new items again. Added 4 new items. One to each section. There just a step up from the items below.

 

 

The amount you gain per soldier has been raised slightyly.

 

And now for every 3 post increasing posts you make you'll gain 1 Soldier.

Aegis of Omen-IS the Defence Item

Greaves of Agility-Is the Spy Item

One to each Section. Special Thanks goes out to Invisible for volunteering his time to help me think of the names. He will be rewarded with one of each item. We actully spent some time thinking of them,

 

For those wondering what a YUMI is....

 

A yumi is a Japanese longbow used in the practice of Kyudo (Japanese archery). Traditionally made from a composite of bamboo, wood and leather, yumi are of asymmetrical design, with the grip positioned at about one-third the distance from the lower tip. It is believed the asymmetric shape was designed for use on horseback, allowing the bow to be more easily moved from one side of the horse to the other.

 

Pretty Bad ass in my opinion.

 

I will be adding Races Sometime in the near future. Just Not tonight. Also expect some other surprises.

The old army system was very repetative, I dont think putting the old system back will happen after all of this effort. If you have ideas or improvmets for the army system, please say so.

Fix the glitch that let's you have a confirm after your php divides by zero. It's very fun but extremely unfair...

Hey Mystic I'll reply in the same tone you repied at me.. try actully saving up your money. Thats why i set everything the way it is. Your probbly the noob that just liked to buy stuff with out thinking. now you actully have to think about what your buying because you have to save up. Unfortunatly we can't get the old system back. No matter what I do there are always a few that don't agree

Paying about 400,000 GPs for (I think) 5 people for each 12 hours...

7083 GPs before this post...I'll edit it with the change in GPs

 

7118 GPs after, so that's 35 GPs, I don't kow if it's randomly set with every post,

but I have noticed that I get in and around 35 GPs per Post I get.

 

If there is a way to get people per post, one person per post (if it's possible...) would be great.

Ok I may Increase the money gain slightyl. but so far this has worked welll. As i said there are pleny of other ways to gain money besides relying on just the army system. Because the quicker some takes off with the army system the sooner it becomes no fun for the people that fall behind.

 

 

Mystic. I assume your saying that how am i supposed to save money if people are always attacking me. I am not playing the army system for the fact taht i have complete controll over it. I can gaurentte that if i played and got near the top some one would accuse me of cheating. Plus I enjoy managing it more.

For me, I usually get 37 points fro posting. I think it might be because I usually make kinda long posts... And any progress on that divide by zero thing? It's really cheap...

OK, you now get anywhere from 1000-10000 points per post. The more you the type the more you get, and you get more for createing a topic, vs just replying.

 

So, the more your post the faster you can get cash.

 

I will be updateing the rules post. But as far as posting abuse goes:

 

Staff: posting and deleteing your topics is not allowed, you will be de-modded or banned. All the deleted posts go to a "trash-can" and I can see what was deleted, and chose to resotre it or not, so I will know if you abuse it. Your army will also be reset and debt payed to members.

 

Members: Spamming over and over will result in suspention or ban and an army reset, if you use mutible accounts, then we will know, your IP will match, even over a proxy.

Yup I tested it, thats accually a part in the army system that does not work. So when I integrated the army system with the battle arena, we get things like points per post and the nice part is that the more you post, the more you get.

 

Also, Im playing the army system too. :P And dont not attack me becuase im admin please, Since its goldy's job I can play it and show you how its done. :P
