I run both sites differently. Without m00k or Darth we wouldn't have a GHURADIO in the first place. M00k helped get us listeners with he addition to ghur on bwhacks, and darth helped build and spread the word of the site. There are many other things both have contributed. Without darth, we wouldn't even have an IRC chat! So for me to turn around and ban them is worse than asking you to take it up with them, and not abuse your privileges on Ghoztcraft as a threat.

 

While I agree, there's no reason for m00k to go off pissing everyone off, but I'm completely annoyed at how you're pursuing this.

What's great about the internetz is you have the power to click the little X in the top right of the screen when you want something to go away, unlike real life in which you may actually have to deal with the person. Or another great thing about the internetz is a lot of times there is an "ignore" or "block" option. However I think it would be a shame for you to leave over something like this, I've never really even talked with you 1 on 1 but I've seen you post a lot so it would be shame. And another way to look at it, is if you leave just like that you wasted 1030 posts, and who knows how many minutes/hours of your own personal time that turns into.

I'm not leaving because of the IRC shit, it's how GC just keeps following the same pattern.

All this stupid Drama comes up and nobody does anything about it.

And yeah I have spent a lot of time on GC. I know how it used to be and how it has changed.

It may just be that I became more aware of it and things were always this way, but regardless it's not something I want to be a part of.

Can you please explain this "pattern" and what things I'm not doing? I setup the site so we had 4 admins and like 20 mods specifically for the idea that I wouldn't have to because I knew that I'd be getting busy this next few months. I've got a lot on my plate right now (life tings) that get in the way of me spending as much time on the site as I did back when I was still in high school.

 

I'm sorry you feel like I'm not doing anything. But you should know that the server, game servers, radio and everything else you enjoy using is costing me about $200/mo and then some. I find it insulting that you make a threat to "do things" to make me ban you essentially threating to abuse your mod powers which was given to you for free. I spend time building websites and everything else because I enjoy doing it, not because I'm trying to make a million bucks. I'm the one that should be bitching and feeling back stabbed.

 

And frankly, if that's honestly how you feel, then you're not welcome on my server. I don't know what the fuck set you off, or who insulted you. But all I can see is that m00k pissed you off, and little things added up. But you're not really explaining what everyting it is that you're talking about. So don't expect me to do anything about your whining until you do.

LP is right in some ways, it seems like most requestes never get done.

Again, please explain. You guys asked for VIP Skin, you had one in 2 weeks. You ask to be mod, I say ask the MEMBERS and I'll approve if they do. Everything you ask for, I've given unless completely unreasonable.

 

 

 

I don't know why, maybe it's because I avoid unnecessary confrontation, but I have been here for nearly as long as you guys, and I just don't see as much drama as you guys are making it seem like there is. I'm not exactly sure why this is considering I'm pretty active, but I find it odd.

This is the one site that actually treats it's community like they're important. It's rare to find what we have here. Sometimes people get used to having the administration and moderation team take care of the members and community, and the second it slows down everyone complains about it. I can't think of anything else here.

 

I'm feeling pretty unappreciated right now.
