Squelching yourself in 1.15

It has come to my attention that patch 1.15 was rushed and has many holes poked through it. The biggest 'bug' has been the download status bar being invisible to players (that aren't hacking). But with this patch we must realize that there are most likely many exploits to be found.

 

I am not a man of excelllent memory, so I cannot cite all that I have discovered thus far. So I will mention one fun little thing I discovered while playing Bound4Life with an obnoxious friend of mine. As I was squelching him, I was wondering if I could squelch myself. I soon remembered that if I tried, I would see a message stating that I cannot squelch myself. I predicted (by memory) that the message would say, "You cannot squelch yourself." However, when I tried, I noticed a second message below that, saying, "Roy has been squelched." When I tried to talk, I saw nothing. I later realized that other people could see what I was typing. Thus, I discovered that it is possible to squelch yourself in-game for patch 1.15

 

If you don't want to read all that garbage, Then read this:

 

- You can squelch yourself in-game as of patch 1.15

- You cannot see what you are typing, but other players can

- Great way to kill time

The download display is not bugged. It's like that because Blizzard is going to let Starcraft Leagues have their own icons. The icons are going to be displayed in place of the Download Statuses.

Edit: I will admit that I didn't originally notice it said "in-game" i just saw that it said you could squelch yourself, And I tried it in the channel and it didn't work.
